"The Next Doctor"

In London 1851, the Doctor meets a man who believes he is "The Doctor." However, this new Doctor lacks many of the current Doctor's memories. What's the explanation for this second doctor? What's his true identity, and what do the Cybermen has to do with all of this?

Actor David Morrissey is a two-time BAFTA-nominated actor and director. He is best known for his roles as politician Stephen Collins in the mini-series State of Play and as entrepreneur Ripley Holden in the musical crime drama, Viva Blackpool.

He has appeared in several films, including Drowning by Numbers, Waterland, Hilary and Jackie, Fanny and Elvis, The Suicide Club, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Stoned, Derailed, Basic Instinct 2, The Reaping, The Water Horse, and The Other Boleyn Girl.

He is married to novelist Esther Freud, the great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud and daughter of artist Lucian Freud. They have two children.
