BBC America chatted with Eddie Izzard at the Soho Grand Hotel in New York City. He had just performed some new material at the Village Theater. He was also shooting two films: Across the Universe, a musical based on the songs of the Beatles (co-starring U2's Bono), and Super Ex-Girlfriend, a comedy co-starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson.

In our exclusive audio interview, Izzard discusses everything from his career to the brilliance of Wikipedia to politics and the state of America. Click on a question below to hear his answers.
