Episode 9

Owner/Manager Dean turned an old Mill in Tuckahoe, NY into a restaurant, but unfortunately he can’t get customers in the door. He is nearly a million dollars in debt and needs Gordon’s help badly.

Gordon arrives and discovers that Dean’s menu is overcomplicated and he cares more about how he looks than delivering a good meal. Gordon tells Dean point blank he thinks he is a fake; the result is a screaming match between Dean and Gordon that looks like it will never end. Dean refuses to take disgusting dishes, like the mushroom risotto, off the menu causing several customers to complain and send their food back. On the restaurant’s biggest night it’s up to Dean to take Gordon’s advice and turn this restaurant into what it was always meant to be.
