Episode Thirteen

The honeymoon's over for Gavin and Stacey. The couple has struggled with where they should live, with Essex-born Gavin refusing to even consider living in Stacey's hometown in Wales, which has resulted in Stacey moving out. In the season finale, Stacey returns to Essex to work on their marriage, but the reality of living so far away from her family sinks in.

Meanwhile, Gavin and Stacey's best friends, Smithy and Nessa, are coming to terms with their own stark reality: they're not even friends and yet after a short fling, they're now having a baby together. Much to everyone's surprise, Nessa goes into labor a month early but Smithy in nowhere to be found. Gavin stays behind and frantically goes searching for him, but will he make it in time for the baby's birth? And will Gavin and Stacey find their way back to each other?

This is the season finale!
