Jings - (Scottish) An exclamation similar to "cripes!"

Kicking - full of life and energy ("Last night's party was kicking")

Knackering - tiring

Knickers - women's underwear

Knob - a penis; an idiot

Lad - a young man

Lorra - a lot of ("You owe me a lorra lorra money")

Lush - used in terms of something pleasing or desirable; equivalent to "Cool!"

Meader - Derogatory term for people from Southmead Bristol

Mentalled - extremely drunk ("I was absolutely mentalled")

Mong - an idiot, someone mentally challenged, or to be impaired by drugs

Nang - Cool, good

Nutter - a crazy person

Oi - Cockney slang for "hey"

Pillock - an inadvertently stupid person, an idiot

Piss off - to leave, go away

Piss up - a period of heavy drinking

Pissed - drunk, inebriated

Plonker - A dope, idiot, or moron

Poof - Derogatory term for a homosexual

Poppers - Slang term for alkyl nitrites that are inhaled to get high

Posh - belonging to the upper class, elegant and fashionable
