They are played by British comedians Ed Gamble and Amy Hoggart, who have done everything from performing at Fringe Festivals to being featured on stand up comedy television to starring in popular podcasts.

Check out Ed on BBC Radio 1's 4 Minute Comedy. Warning - there's a bit of fowl language in this one:

Here he is being interviewed for Absolute Radio as the host of the 2013 Cornbury Festival:

Amy has been seen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is the writer of many strange and awkward characters, such as Pattie Brewster. Check out her live PowerPoint extraordinaire presentation here:

Here she is as Pattie doing impromptu interviews as part of a case study on Happiness for Edinburgh 2013's 'Dreams Can Know True!!!' tour:

You can hear Ed on his podcast with fellow comedian Ray Peacock called Peacock & Gamble for free. Listen to their very first episode here.

They will be performing live shows this summer for those of you traveling across the pond.

The two often appear in character on shows like The Graham Norton Show and other various media outlets, but don't let them fool you. They're not as earnest as they appear.
