When Anglophenia web series host Siobhan Thompson moved to  L.A.-based YouTube channel College Humor, we knew it wasn't the last we'd see of our one-woman show.

Now, Thompson co-created a new TV show with writer Rebecca Drysdale (The Big Gay Sketch Show) called Pippa Smith: Grown-Up Detective. And, that's not all. Who do you suppose has signed on to executive produce? Buffy the Vampire creator Joss Whedon, who's also behind hits like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (2014-2018) and Dollhouse (2009-2010).

The series, described as a dark comedy, will air on the Freeform channel (formerly ABC Family) and revolve around a young woman named Pippa Smith, reports Variety. Pippa grew up playing a kid sleuth on TV. Now, at the ripe old age of 21, she's a full-fledged grown-up detective in her actual adult life. In each episode she takes on a new case and simultaneously tries to figure out her personal life.

This sounds like a Sherlock and Bridget Jones's Diary hybrid with a dash of Jessica Jones, which we can get into.
