Brad Pitt is set to star in the forthcoming action-thriller Bullet Train, reports Empire Online. We can look for him as a killer for hire, whose code name is Ladybug. But, it’s not just him, the train he’s on is topped-up with assassins.
Ladybug’s latest assignment is to retrieve a briefcase from the train. Unfortunately, the other contractors have the same assignment. He has a lightness about him, but his counterparts aren't as friendly.
The newly released trailer gives us a peek at Ladybug and his fellow passengers:
Assassins come in all shapes and sizes and Pitt’s version is very mindful. He’s not just super polite, but he’s all about putting peace out into the world, thinking he’ll get peace back. In the above clip, we see him on the phone, with the woman he’s talking to say to him, “I think you might be forgetting what you do for a living?” Maybe he has a selective memory.
He’s equally sensitive, like in the scene where he’s attacked, expressing his hurt feelings, saying, “You stabbed me? Dude, I don’t even know you.” During another confrontation, he offers to talk things through, but the suggestion is declined.
Surprisingly, Ladybug stays in good spirits throughout the entire clip.
You can look for the movie in its entirety when it hits theaters on July 15. The film also stars Anglo fave Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
