Barney Walsh, son of Doctor Who alum Bradley Walsh, has added another acting role to his résumé: he'll be guest starring in the new season of Death in Paradise. 
The show confirmed the news on Twitter with a photo of Barney looking relaxed on board a boat. There's no word yet on the character he'll be playing, though perhaps it could be someone with a nautical job?

You may know Barney Walsh from his role as PC Harness in the hit Acorn TV series The Larkins, which stars his father Bradley. He's previously guest starred in episodes of Doctors and Law & Order: UK, and also appears alongside his dad in the road trip documentary series Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad.

Meanwhile, Death in Paradise has also announced two further guest stars for the new season: Okorie Chukwu, star of the British sitcom Kate and Koji, and Jo Hartley (In My Skin, After Life).
They join four other Death in Paradise newbies announced earlier this month, including Doctor Who alum Jo Martin. They'll be sharing scenes with Death in Paradise regulars Don Warrington (Commissioner Selwyn Patterson), Ralf Little (DI Neville Parker), Élizabeth Bourgine (Catherine Bordey), Tahj Miles (Marlon Price), Shantol Jackson (Naomi Thomas), and Ginny Holder (Darlene Curtis).
