Charlie Hunnam has starred in a number of genres, including sci-fi, crime and period drama, just to name a few.
He’s now going full circle, making his return to sci-fi and set to star in Rebel Moon, reports ComingSoon.net.
Writer-director Zack Snyder has turned to Twitter to share casting news and concept art:

We love that “Let’s go!” at the end of his update. His excitement is contagious. And, where are we going Zack? 
The movie will be taking us into outer space. The synopsis explains what to expect, saying the story “follows an enigmatic young woman who is given the responsibility by a peaceful colony on the outskirts of the galaxy to find warriors who can fend off an impending invasion by the despotic Regent Belisarius.”
There’s no word on what role Hunnam is set to play, whether we can look for him as warrior or an invader, but we’d be pleased with either.
A start date has yet to be announced, but you can look for Rebel Moon over at Netflix, once ready to release.
