Henry Cavill is very much booked and busy, but he's just added romantic comedy movie The Rosie Project to his slate of upcoming projects.
According to Deadline, Cavill will play a perennially single university professor who devises an in-depth questionnaire to help him find "The One." However, in the process he meets a surprising young woman who ticks none of the right boxes on paper, but might just be perfect for him.
The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Graeme Simsion and is being directed by Steve Falk. It's due to start shooting in early 2022, but there's no news yet on who might be playing Cavill's unexpected love interest.
Earlier this month the Man of Steel actor signed up to star in Argylle, an all-star spy thriller from Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn that will also feature Samuel L. Jackson and Catherine O'Hara. He's also due to reprise his role opposite Millie Bobby Brown in the upcoming sequel to Enola Holmes.
And on top of this, there's the not so small matter of the Highlander reboot that Deadline linked him to in May. Let's hope he's getting his eight hours a night before these exciting projects start shooting.
Do you think Henry Cavill and The Rosie Project are a match made in heaven?
