Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are reviving their working relationship after nearly 20 years!

Statham has signed up to star in a remake of French action thriller Le Convoyeur, entitled Cash Truck, which is being directed by Ritchie. The pair previously worked together on Ritchie's crime comedy movies Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, which came out in 1998 and 2000 and proved to be career breakthroughs for both of them.

In their new movie, Statham will portray en enigmatic character who works for a company that moves hundreds of millions of dollars around L.A. each week using armored cash trucks. The original French film was released in 2004 and starred Jean Dujardin (The Artist) and Albert Dupontel (9 Month Stretch).

“I’m looking forward to bringing this story to life and working with Jason while he still has the use of his knees,” Ritchie said playfully, according to Variety.

Both he and Statham are coming off hot streaks. Statham starred in July's hit Fast and Furious spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw, which has grossed more than $750 million at the worldwide box office, while Ritchie's live-action Aladdin, released in May, has taken more than $1 billion globally.

Ritchie's next movie The Gentleman is due January 24. It stars Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, and Hugh Grant, who puts on a ridiculously fun cockney accent in the trailer.
