According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series is being developed by director Jon Watts and writer Christopher Ford, who worked together on 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming starring Tom Holland. There are no details yet on the character Law is playing in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, but the series is said to have a tone reminiscent of classic '80s coming-of-age movies like E.T. and The Goonies. All other plot details are being kept tightly under wraps.
In the meantime, we can catch Law in Peter Pan & Wendy, the upcoming Disney live-action movie in which he plays Captain Hook. Another Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor, premieres today on Disney+.
