Lily James and Sebastian Stan are set to play one of the '90s' most memorable celebrity couples: Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
According to Deadline, the two actors are "on board" to play Anderson and Lee in an eight-part Hulu limited series which has the working title Pam & Tommy.
Seth Rogen is among the limited series' producers and will co-star as the man who stole the sex tape that helped to make the couple infamous. I, Tonya's Craig Gillespie is directing with shooting due to start in the spring.
The Baywatch actress and Mötley Crüe drummer married on February 19, 1995 after knowing each other for just 96 hours. An intimate tape recorded during their honeymoon was later stolen from their home and widely pirated online, turning them into a leading tabloid couple of their era. They welcomed two sons together before divorcing in 1998.
Though the sex tape scandal is said to play a "major part" in the series, it will explore their relationship as a whole rather than focusing exclusively on this one event. Anderson and Lee are said to be aware of the series but aren't involved in any creative capacity.
James has recently been seen opposite Armie Hammer and Kristin Scott Thomas in the Netflix adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca, which premiered in October.
