We just mentioned Mark Strong, as he’s joined Murder Mystery 2. And now here he is again, signing on for a new project. You can look for him in the forthcoming action thriller The Silent Hour, reports Deadline.
The story revolves around a police officer (Joel Kinnaman) who has an on-the-job accident. As a result, he finds himself hearing impaired. After working through the condition, he becomes an interpreter for the department.
Strong is set to play his partner, and the two go up against a team of corrupt police officers who plan to silence a murder witness.
The title alone induces a sense of uneasiness and it appears to have a double meaning.
You may know Strong from his earlier roles, like 2008’s RocknRolla and 2011’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. More recently, he’s been spotted in The Kingsman franchise (2014-2017). You can also look for him in the crime drama miniseries Temple (2019-2021).
