Stephen Graham is getting ready to reach Boiling Point again. The BBC has announced that he will reprise his chef role from last year's Boiling Point movie in a new five-part series.
Vinette Robinson and Hannah Walters will also reprise their role from the films, which follows Graham's head chef, Andy Jones, as he battles through the most hectic day of the year at his upmarket London restaurant.
The series will begin six months after the events of the film. Andy's sous chef, Robinson's character Carly, is now head chef at her own London eatery. The first two episodes of the series will be directed by Philip Barantini, who co-wrote and directed the film, and co-writer James Cummings is back on board, too.
Graham and Hannah Walters (who are married in real life) will also serve as executive producers on the series. They said in a statement: "We were blown away by the worldwide success of the film and are really excited to bring Boiling Point back as a series for television. The show delves into the heart of the restaurant and hospitality industry where just about anything can happen between the starter and the main."
Frankly, it sounds like a mouthwatering prospect.
