Casting News: Ty Tennant Joins Dad David Tennant in 'Good Omens'

Good Omens is about to become a family affair – specifically, a Tennant family affair.
Radio Times brings news that up-and-coming actor Ty Tennant has joined his father David Tennant in season two of the fantasy show. What's more, Peter Davison, Ty's grandfather and David's father-in-law, has also been cast in the new season. Davison and David Tennant already share a pretty big show on their résumes: Doctor Who! Davison starred in the show as the Fifth Doctor in the early 1980s.
In Good Omens, Ty Tennant will play a character called Ennon, while Davison will play one called Alistair. Ty, son of David and Georgia Tennant, was recently seen in an episode of House of the Dragon, prompting dad David to poke affectonate fun at him during a recent fan event.
Good Omens, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, was officially renewed for a second season back in 2021. Once again, Tennant will play the demon Crowley opposite Michael Sheen as the angel Aziraphale. The new season is expected to premiere later this year.

Tennant portrays Alexander Litvinenko, a former KGB officer whose death from Polonium-210 poisoning in November 2006 triggered one of the most complex and dangerous investigations in the history of the UK’s Metropolitan Police.
