The Batman is set to premiere in March 2022, where we’ll see Robert Pattinson step into the titular role. He’s set to be joined by Colin Farrell as Penguin.
But, Farrell won’t stop there, with his character getting his own backstory series, heading to HBO Max, reports ComingSoon.net.
The project is in the early stages, but it will be pre-Penguin, focusing on the man himself, Oswald Cobblepot, before he became a supervillain.
According to the synopsis, the series will tell the story of his rise to power, becoming the Kingpin of Gotham City.
