Daniel Radcliffe Reads the First Chapter of 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone'

Just last week, Andy Serkis spent 12 hours reading The Hobbit book via live stream on YouTube. Serkis performed the role of Gollum via motion capture acting.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is following suit, recruiting actors and other public figures to read from her fan favorite series, reports The Hollywood Reporter. First up is Daniel Radcliffe, who portrayed the boy wizard in the film series, and he'll be reading the first chapter from the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer' Stone (Philosopher's Stone in the U.K.).

His reading of "The Boy Who Lived" is available via Spotify or over at the official Harry Potter at Home website and is approximately 25 minutes. His reading is up and available now.

It's not just Radcliffe: you can also look for Eddie Redmayne, Stephen Fry, Noma Dumezweni, Dakota Fanning and even soccer star David Beckham. The below clip has a peek at the forthcoming roster of readers:
