David Tennant and Michael Sheen starred opposite each other in the TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Good Omens. Just recently, they reprised their Good Omens' characters, Crowley and Aziraphale, over video chat.

Now they're working on another DIY project called Staged, reports RadioTimes. The six-part series will revolve around Tennant and Sheen playing fictionalized versions of themselves, who are furloughed when their West End production is delayed because of quarantine. Even so, they continue to work from home and try to rehearse via video chat.

Tennant and Sheen will take the lead on the series, relying on self-shooting and video meetings. But, these two won't be going it alone. We can also look for Georgia Tennant, who is in isolation with Tennant, being married and all. As well, Killing Eve's Nina Sosanya (who played Jess in season two), Murder Maps' Lucy Eaton and Swedish TV presenter Anna Lundberg will round out the cast.

There may be more guest stars as filming begins, but it's yet to be confirmed.

It's not completely DIY, with the BBC involved in the commission. Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content, said of the series, "It’s so important that the BBC provides moments of humor and light relief and this mischievous idea shows what great sports Michael and David are."

The six-part series is written by comedian Simon Evans and produced by Phin Glynn. It will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this coming June. And for those outside of the U.K., we're hoping it will pop up on YouTube or social media.
