David Tennant and Peter Davison Team Up... to Change a Lightbulb

How many Time Lords does it take to change a light bulb? Well, thanks to Georgia Tennant, we finally know the answer.

The Doctor Who and Merlin star posted a photo on social media yesterday (December 16) showing one Time Lord on a chair while another stood and watched offered moral support:

How many Doctors does it take to change a light bulb? #sunday

And not a sonic screwdriver in sight!

The two Doctors in question are of course Peter Davison and David Tennant, Georgia's father and hubby respectively, doing a spot of DIY on a Sunday.

It's a typical family scene, made all the funnier by Georgia's caption. It's not the first time the two family members have worked together on a project, of course; Peter, who portrayed the Fifth Doctor from 1981 to 1984, appeared alongside his soon-to-be son-in-law David in a 2007 charity episode titled "Time Crash."

Peter is reprising the role in "Relative Time," an upcoming audio drama that will also see his real-life daughter Georgia return as the Fifth Doctor's future daughter Jenny, whom the Tenth Doctor, played by David, encountered in 2008 episode "The Doctor's Daughter."

Confused? Don't be. It's all part of a boxset called Doctor Who: The Legacy of Time, which features six hour-long stories about characters from the history of Doctor Who crossing paths, and is due to be released by Big Finish Productions in July 2019.

Are you looking forward to the big light bulb changing scene?
