In the description that accompanies the clip, David said his inspiration came from Gallifrey’s twin suns: “We initially see them sink behind the planet, and then we see them submerge behind the mountains and sandy dunes on Gallifrey’s surface. Silhouetting the departing TARDIS, and casting the distant Citadel into darkness."
