Emma Stone Gets Her British Accent On in First Look Trailer for 'Cruella'

It can be hard enough for one to act using a native tongue, let alone putting on a foreign accent, but Emma Stone nails it in Cruella, where she takes on the title role as Cruella de Vil.
This isn't the Cruella we're used to seeing, like when Glenn Close played the part in the 1996 live-action movie 101 Dalmatians. Stone's version is much younger, with the story set in 1970s London.
This Cruella is a fashion designer, and what is her favorite choice of "fabric" to work with? Oh, you know... dog skins. While that is unsettling, we have a sneaky feeling these doggies will somehow get the upper hand paw.
The new trailer kicks off with Stone narrating the story in a slow, throaty delivery, saying, "From the very beginning, I realized just how I saw the world differently than anyone else."
She admits that she could be polarizing, and that her outlook on life didn't sit well with other people, but balances it out by saying, "I wasn't for everyone."
We hate to say it, we're kind of cheering for her (minus the killing Dalmatians part):
She caps things off with a little bit of a mantra: "The thing is, I was born radiant. I was born bad. And a little bit mad."
Well, at least she's self-aware. This girlie has no apologies.
If you thought you spotted Emma Thompson (Late Night) in the above, you did. She stars as one of Cruella's rivals, Baroness von Hellman.
We can also look for Mark Strong (Kingsman: Secret Service) and Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Killing Eve).
If this is something you're craving, you can look for the Disney adaptation on May 28.
We are kind of lovinggggg this. What about you!?
