Daniel Craig may be done with Bond, but he’s not done making movies. He starred in the 2019 murder-mystery Knives Out and you can now look for him in the 2022 sequel, entitled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, reports ComingSoon.net.
If you’re wondering what a “glass onion” is, you are not alone. According to Urban Dictionary it’s to overthink something that is pretty apparent. Of course, it can have more than one meaning.
Possibly the first look photo will help pull away the layers:
In the above photo, Craig reprises his role as private detective Benoit Blanc. It appears he’s addressing a group of people, similar to what transpired in the original movie. The sequel takes place in Greece. And, as the title suggests, there’s a mystery. But what kind of mystery has yet to be revealed.
Craig is set to star opposite Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline.
That is quite the cast. We're looking forward to this whodunit, it's just a matter of who has done what?
Filming is complete. You can look for the premiere of Glass Onion over at Netflix on December 23.
Are you up for more of Daniel Craig as Benoit!?
