Gavin & Stacey stars Mathew Horne and Joanna Page are to host a special one-off radio show on Christmas Day.

They'll be joined on their two-hour BBC Radio Wales program by fellow Gavin & Stacey cast members Alison Steadman (Pam), Larry Lamb (Mick), Melanie Walters (Gwen), Steffan Rhodri (Dave Coaches), Robert Wilfort (Jason), and Laura Aikman (Sonia).

There will even be a special message from James Corden, who co-created the show with Ruth Jones in addition to starring as Gavin's best friend Smithy. Frankly, it's enough to make you let out Pam's signature exclamation: "Oh my Christ!"

Page, who previously hosted a show on BBC Radio Wales earlier this year, told the BBC that she "absolutely loves Christmas," then added: "So when it came up that we could do a Christmas Day show I knew that if there was anybody I'd want to share that with, it's Mat. I love working with him, he's so much fun."

The full cast of Gavin & Stacey – including Jones, who plays Stacey's formidable friend Nessa – reunited last year for a one-off festive TV special which became the U.K.'s most-watched scripted program of the decade.

Corden and Jones have since hinted that the show could return again – after all, the special ended on a tense cliffhanger – but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Last year's special was the first new episode of Gavin & Stacey since 2010, when the show ended its three-season run on BBC One in the U.K. and BBC America in the U.S. Every key cast member returned for the special, with the exception of the late Margaret John, who played Stacey's salty neighbor Doris. The veteran Welsh actress passed away in 2011 at the age of 84, and Corden and Jones dedicated the special to her memory.
