There's no final word on 1987's Fatal Attraction getting a remake, but if it were up to Glenn Close... it just might happen. But, with a twist.

While Close has plenty on her plate at the moment, she's looking back to one of her most memorable roles and how the story might come across differently if told from the woman's perspective. She recently talked to Deadline Hollywood about the impact of the movie, saying, "Fatal Attraction was a movie that touched a very, very raw nerve between the sexes."

In Fatal Attraction, Close plays a woman by the name of Alex Forrest. Alex is in her late 30s, a successful attorney living in NYC, and for all intents and purposes, she seems like she has a lot going for her. Possibly it was just that and her brazen confidence that attracted her married suitor (Michael Douglas). But, when her romantic delusions are shattered, she loses all hope... and possibly a bit of her mind.

She pointed out that Paramount Pictures owns the film, but weighed in on the possibility of seeing a remake, saying, "I think they’ve (Paramount) had some things in the works, but I do think it would be interesting to take the exact story basically, and do it from her point of view."

It's an interesting concept to retell the story from Alex's perspective and does make one think, what drove this character to the brink?

Close wraps up the topic, saying, "I think she’d become a tragic figure, rather than perceived as an evil figure."
