Helena Bonham Carter and Kelly Macdonald are set to guest star in the upcoming U.K. remake of Call My Agent!.
Olivia Williams (The Nevers, The Father) will also guest star in the British version of the cult French series, which was first announced earlier this month.
Variety also reports that Amazon Prime Video will premiere the series in the U.K. and Ireland, though U.S. broadcast details have yet to be confirmed.
The series' ensemble cast, also announced earlier this month, includes Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge!) Jack Davenport (The Morning Show), and Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack). John Morton, creator of the acclaimed BBC mockumentaries W1A and Twenty Twelve, is serving as an executive producer on the remake, in addition to writing and directing its first two episodes.
"It's great to be working with Amazon Prime Video, who support creativity and gives us the freedom to put our own distinctively British stamp on the series," Morton said today (May 21). "It’s a privilege to be working with an extraordinary cast, along with some star-studded cameos, who together represent the best of Britain’s talent."
The French original follows the employees of a Parisian talent agency struggling to keep its clients happy following the death of their founder. It premiered in 2015 on French Network France 2 and has since built a growing international fanbase on Netflix, with the likes of Isabelle Huppert, Jean Jujardin, and Juliette Binoche making guest appearances.
