We recently saw Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret in The Crown (2019-2020). Plus, she’s completed filming on the Enola Holmes sequel, set to reprise her role as Eudoria Holmes.
There’s no slowing down for Carter, as she has another project lined up. This time around, she won’t be on-screen, but instead narrating the forthcoming documentary series Wild Babies, reports Deadline.
The eight-part series, heading to Netflix, will follow 17 animal families across 18 countries. You can look for all sorts of different animals, including lions, wild dogs, sea otters, orangutans, grizzly bears, elephants, bottlenose dolphins, and emperor penguins. The series will follow the young “from birth through developmental milestones and coming-of-age moments.
Executive producer Charlotte Crosse released a statement, saying, “Wild Babies will resonate with a broad family audience, with heart-warming stories that will feel relatable to viewers around the world.”
She talked about the challenges, saying, “Delivering an ambitious wildlife series during a global pandemic certainly presented new challenges for our team, but what we hadn’t anticipated were the creative opportunities and innovative approaches that also emerged.”

This isn’t the first time Carter has narrated a nature series, stepping in for the BBC America production Eden: Untamed Planet:
