Jason Flemyng and Dougray Scott to Star in 1980s Crime Series 'A Town Called Malice'

U.K. network Sky has announced that Jason Flemyng and Dougray Scott are to star in A Town Called Malice, a British crime drama series set in 1980s Spain.
Tahirah Sharif (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Martha Plimpton (The Good Wife), and Jack Rowan (Peaky Blinders) have also been cast in the eight-part series.
Set on Spain's Costa Del Sol – a vacation destination popular with British expats – the series will center on a south London crime family who have profited from an unexpected windfall. At the same time, they want to keep away from London's Met Police in the wake of a high-profile murder inquiry.
Daniel Sharman (Fear the Walking Dead), Lex Shrapnel (Captain America), George Jaques (The Third Day: Autumn), and Eliza Butterworth (The Last Kingdom) have also been cast in the eight-part series, which has been created by Bulletproof's Nick Love.
Love said in a press release: "What an amazing cast. I am so lucky to finally be working with some of my favorite actors and childhood heroes. I couldn’t be more excited to see how they bring the Lord family to life."
Filming is due to begin this month for a 2023 premiere on Sky and U.K. streamer NOW. Watch this space for details on a U.S. home for the show.
