Jenna Coleman has given an update on Victoria, saying there "may" be another season of the popular British period drama.

Coleman, who previously starred as Clara Oswald in Doctor Who, has played Queen Victoria in three seasons of the historical drama series, which airs in the U.S. on PBS and in the U.K. on ITV.

Season three followed events up until the Great Exhibition of 1851, which means there's plenty more of Victoria's reign to mine for storylines. After becoming Queen in 1838, she reigned for 63 years until 1901, making her the longest-serving monarch until Queen Elizabeth II.

“There may be another series... I’m waiting until I age a bit more... There’s too much good story," 34-year-old Coleman said in a new interview with Tatler magazine, the Press Association reports.

Coleman went on to discuss how she might be able to play the older, less svelte Victoria, saying: "I mean, do I get into a fat suit? Do I get into prosthetics? God, I’d take that over a corset any day. I’ve done three years of those … I’m, like, 'Bring on the fat suit! It’s fine!'"

Coleman previously discussed who might replace her as Queen Victoria in a season set later in the monarch's reign, saying Emily Watson, Imelda Staunton, Helena Bonham Carter, and Olivia Colman would all do a great job.
