Juno Temple Has Signed On for the Making Of 'The Godfather' Series 'The Offer'

You may have spotted Juno Temple in the true crime series Dirty John, as the badass daughter of a woman who is victimized by a con artist. And, more recently, she stars in the fish-out-of-water series Ted Lasso, opposite Jason Sudeikis.

Now Temple has a new project in the works, The Offer, which also stars Miles Teller and Matthew Goode, reports Deadline.

The Offer is a behind-the-scenes telling of the iconic 1972 movie The Godfather, starring Al Pacino and Marlon Brando, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, which he also co-wrote the screenplay with Mario Puzo, based on Puzo's 1969 novel of the same name.

The 10-episode limited series will premiere on Paramount+. Teller is set to take on the role of producer Al Ruddy, with Temple portraying his assistant Bettye McCartt. While McCartt is an entry-level employee, she is described as a "powerhouse in her own right."

Goode, who you can look for in season two of AMC+'s A Discovery of Witches, will take on the role of studio head Robert Evans.

We know The Godfather did make it to the big screen, but it sounds like this series might fill in the blanks on just how it happened.

The Offer is written and executive-produced by Nikki Toscano (Revenge), who will also act as showrunner.

In addition to Dirty John and Ted Lasso, you can look for Temple in 2020's Little Birds.

The Offer is in pre-production, with a premiere date predicted for 2022.
