In a new interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) talks about how nervous she was about 2020's The Flight Attendant premiering, saying, "Because this project lived or died with me."

And, if you're across the mystery-thriller series, you'll know that it definitely translated with viewers. Cuoco plays a flight attendant named Cassie, who enjoys her time off, being the life of the party. Possibly a little too much, since as we learn, she has a bit of a drinking problem (understatement).

After a night out with a passenger, who she met on a flight to Bangkok, the two wake up in a hotel and the man is dead. The story goes from there, with Cassie trying to figure out what happened the night before, resulting in passenger 3D's throat being slit.

You can also look for Anglo favorite Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) as Cassie's nemesis-turned-ally. 

The series has been signed off on for a second season, and Cuoco is getting ready to make her return to the emotionally challenging role.

Cuoco talks about playing a character with so much going on in her head, saying, "I felt like I played 10 different women. I played the fun best friend. I played the sister. I played a girl who has serious trauma. It was an actor's dream."

She talks about what to expect in season two, saying, "Cassie is going to have to face some of her own demons in the mind palace, especially now trying to stay sober."

Mind palace? Cuoco is speaking our language, with Sherlock calling on his mind palace to solve crime. Maybe she's a fan, too!?

Cuoco talks about her character moving to L.A. with her brother (T.R. Knight) not far behind, as he wants to keep an eye on her sobriety.

With her being a flight attendant, where she lives is kind of her home base, but most of her time is up in the air or in the location on the other end of the flight, leaving a lot of room for action... and disaster.

The Flight Attendant is based on Chris Bohjalian's 2018 novel, with a second season predicted for 2022.
