Kenneth Branagh Leads All-Star Cast in Trailer for Agatha Christie Adaptation ‘Death on the Nile’
A new trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile has sailed online, giving us a fresh glimpse at the Agatha Christie adaptation’s awesome all-star cast.
Branagh reprises his role as Christie’s beloved Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in the long-awaited movie, a follow-up to his 2017 Christie adaptation Murder on the Orient Express.
This time around, Poirot is tasked with investigating the unexplained death of a passenger aboard the S.S. Karnak. His voyage on the river cruiser brings him into contact with characters played by Gal Gadot, Annette Bening, Letitia Wright, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, and Russell Brand.
British comedy legends Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders also appear in the movie and can be seen in the trailer.
Death on the Nile was originally due to open in December 2019, but has been delayed several times due to the pandemic. It’s now scheduled for release on February 11, 2022.
