You may remember Kit Harington from the fan favorite series Game of Thrones (2011-2019). It makes us think of the line that Ygritte delivered, “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” Well, he knows enough to get a spinoff series.
At this point in time, the series is in the very early stages, reports The Hollywood Reporter. In industry terms, it’s considered “in development,” but it's been confirmed that Harington is on board.
According to THR, it will revolve around Snow and his adventures following GoT. When we last saw Snow, he had been exiled from Westeros and living on the other side of the wall with Wildings.
In regards to the new series, that leaves a lot of room for storytelling: will he embrace his new life outside of Westeros? Or fight to make his return and be accepted? For that matter, learning his true name — Aegon Targaryen — means he is in line for the Iron Throne. The real question is, would George R.R. Martin return to continue the story?
