You may know Adrian Dunbar as Ted Hastings in the fan favorite series Line of Duty (2012-2021). You can catch-up with the first four seasons of the crime drama over at AMC.com.
Dunbar is taking on another role as a law enforcer in the forthcoming series Ridley, reports Radio Times. He's set to star as retired detective inspector Alex Ridley, who is brought back to the force as a consultant on a murder case.
While the description is brief, Dunbar has shared his thoughts on the project, saying in a statement, "I don’t think I’ve ever headed into a production with more excitement and enthusiasm. As an actor I know how rare it is to be given such a wonderful opportunity, and the combination of Polly Hill [ITV’s Head of Drama] and Chloe Tucker [Drama Commissioner] at ITV and Jonathan Fisher at West Road Pictures means we are in both safe and creative hands."
The series is set to consist of four two-hour episodes, written by Vera's Paul Matthew Thompson.
