We've had a first peak (geddit?) at the upcoming fourth season of Peaky Blinders, and now we've got our first chance to hear what it'll sound like.

Not only is the Birmingham gang undergoing some changes (thanks in part to a mysterious new character played by Adrien Brody), but the show's theme music has also been overhauled.

As any Peaky fan will know, just a short burst of "Red Right Hand" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will get them salivating for more exploits from the Shelby family:

It's a supremely spooky track that captures the tense rivalries of the show perfectly, and has been the theme to the show about a gangster family in Birmingham, England in the aftermath of World War I ever since it debuted in 2013.

The song has had a few different incarnations since then: singer-songwriter PJ Harvey covered it for the show's second season, while Arctic Monkeys also covered it in the past.

The dramatic penultimate episode of season four aired last night (December 13) in the U.K., and the song played as usual — but this time it was performed by Iggy Pop and Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker.

Anyhow, there's not long to wait now before Peaky Blinders season four makes its way to the U.S.: Netflix will make all six episodes available on December 21.
