Director Ben Stiller has a new project coming out, starring Adam Scott in the lead, reports ComingSoon.net.
The nine-episode series, entitled Severance, is set in the workplace, but not like one we’ve seen before.
The name of the series doesn’t refer to a severance package, but a new technology that severs people’s thoughts, separating work and personal life.
That does sound like an interesting concept, but one would think, we need all of our thoughts.
We have a feeling that comes up as the story rolls out.
The newly released trailer introduces us to the characters and what’s to come:

We should point out, this alteration is comprehensive and irreversible, according to the above clip.
It does make us wonder, what is going on at this company for employees to take such extreme measures?
Based on the trailer, there are four volunteers, played by Scott, John Turturro, Zach Cherry and Britt Lower.
We can also look for Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette, rounding out the cast.
Severance is set to premiere over at Apple TV+ on February 18.
