Sundance Now has a new twisty-turvy series coming out, called The Suspect. So twisty you may not even recognize its lead, Aidan Turner. We first met Turner in Being Human (2019-2011) as a fresh-faced actor right out of the gate and now he’s grown up a bit…
In the new trailer, we see Turner on the edge of a high-rise building. He’s out on the window sill providing consult to a young man who is considering jumping. We have a feeling this goes beyond his job description, but as we’re just inching our way into the series, we’re still getting to know him.
As the below clip suggests, Turner may be crossing boundaries in all facets of his life, like being involved with a murder victim and withholding that information from the authorities:

By the end of the clip, the authorities are asking: “So, what have we got? Rooftop hero or sick killer?” That is a really good question.
