New Trailer: Bruce Willis Returns to Sci-Fi in 'Cosmic Sin'
Bruce Willis isn't new to sci-fi, having starred in fan faves like 1995's 12 Monkeys, 1997's The Fifth Element and 1998's Armageddon, just to name a few.
And, here he is again, set to take the lead in the forthcoming Cosmic Sin, premiering on March 12, reports ComingSoon.net.
The name of the action flick makes us think of Sin City (for the obvious reason) but in the future, and we're not that far off. The story is set in 2524, and at this point in time, humans have colonized the outer planets. Willis takes on the role of a retired military general by the name of James Ford.
In the newly released trailer, we see Ford in a dive bar, just wanting to have a drink... alone. But, his reputation proceeds him, with some bruisers coming up to razz him. He's not having it and shuts it down.
Good thing, as there is a bigger problem to deal with: a hostile alien fleet on the attack.
Ford is asked to return to service to help fight them off, which you can check out in the below trailer:
In the above, Willis delivers a great one-liner. One of his colleagues (Frank Grillo) says of his tech suit, "We didn't know whether to burn it or put it in a museum," with Ford quipping back, "I'm sure they said the same thing about me."
Willis has been fighting baddies on-screen for a while now...
Do you think he's still got it?
