New Trailer: Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren Team Up for 'The Duke'

Filming on the art heist biopic The Duke began last year, and a trailer has just been released. You can look for Anglo favorites, Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren, as real married couple Kempton and Dorothy Bunton.

The Duke tells the true story of the first theft from London's National Gallery in 1961, reports Deadline.

Mr. Bunton, a retired bus driver, was fed up with the way the U.K. was being run and the treatment of older people. He took matters into his own hands, stealing a Goya painting from The National Gallery.

He didn't do it out of greed, but instead, to raise money for retirees and to ensure better treatment in their later years.

In the new trailer, we see that the authorities suspect a mastermind is behind the theft, which gives him a chuckle:

Mirren portrays his wife, Dorothy. And while she's understanding of his motives, she's concerned, saying, "You could have told me."

If you think the barrister under the white wig looks familiar, yep, you're right, that's Matthew Goode (A Discovery of Witches).

In the clip, we hear his defense of Bunton, saying, "He is not a thief. He borrowed your painting, to do a bit of good in this world."

The script is written by Richard Bean (One Man, Two Guvnors), with The Duke scheduled to release later this year.

We kind of love these two together on-screen, what about you?
