We recently saw Luke Evans in the mystery thriller series Nine Perfect Strangers, opposite Nicole Kidman. Now he’s stepping into the action thriller genre, set to star in the forthcoming series Echo 3, reports Empire. 
Please don’t worry, you didn’t miss Echo 1 and Echo 2, this is an Apple TV+ original. The series revolves around a woman (Jessica Ann Collins) who goes missing. Her brother (Evans) and her husband (Michiel Huisman) team up to find her.
The first look trailer kicks off with Evans’ character, Bambi, making a heartfelt plea to his sister, with the help of a radio station, saying, “Amber? If you’re out there, and you’re listening, we’re all so worried about you.”
The series takes us to Venezuela, where Amber is being held captive:

It turns out, Bambi and Prince, Amber’s husband, are both in special forces. Their knowledge-base and skill sets will definitely come in handy in this search-and-rescue mission, but there’s no promise they will be able to ensure her freedom.
We shall find out when the series premieres on November 23.
