Olivia Colman to Read Next Chapter of 'Harry Potter' for J.K. Rowling's Free Online Series

This is not a drill: Olivia Colman is joining J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World – at least briefly.

The Oscar-winning actress is the latest star to sign up to read a chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for Rowling's free "Harry Potter at Home" series. The exciting news was first shared in a teaser on Good Morning America and confirmed by Wizarding World on Twitter.

The series launched earlier this month with none other than Daniel Radcliffe reading a chapter of Rowling's first Hogwarts novel, which was published in the U.K. as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Since then, Fantastic Beasts star Eddie Redmayne, Harry Potter actors Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, and Noma Dumezweni, and former Doctor Who guest star Simon Callow have all read a chapter.

Stephen Fry, who read all of the Harry Potter audiobooks in the U.K., has also joined the series.

The readings are available to watch at www.harrypotterathome.com, or you can listen to an audio-only version on Spotify. The series is expected to last until late-summer.

In the meantime, you can whet your appetite for Colman's reading by watching the actress being her usual hilarious self on The Graham Norton Show last year.

Wizarding World fans can also take part in a joint Harry Potter and Downton Abbey pub quiz hosted by Imelda Staunton – a.k.a. the dastardly Dolores Umbridge – and husband Jim Carter, who played the Granthams' loyal butler Carson.
