We know all about Loki, Thor's disgruntled little brother, with him appearing in Marvel's Thor movies (2011-2017) and popping up in The Avengers franchise (2012-2019). And, we've seen the trailer for the forthcoming series, named after him, called Loki.
In addition to Tom Hiddleston, who takes on the title role, we can also look for Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius. In the first look trailer, we caught a glimpse of Mobius, a cosmic bureaucrat, who works at the Time Variancy Authority (TVA).
In a new clip, we get to know him a bit better. We see him and Loki in an elevator, with the God of Mischief asking, "Are you taking me somewhere to kill me?"
Not exactly. Mobius just wants to talk, and he calls Loki out, as he knows Loki is a chatter box:
These two seem like a good match, as Loki then calls Mobius out, exclaiming, "How long have you been here!?"
With the TVA having a different timeline than that of our universe, that question may go unanswered.
Loki finds Mobius' introduction laughable, which he scoffs at, but Mobius seems to have a role in Loki's fate.
Maybeeeee Loki should take things a bit more seriously?
Even so, the new series promises time travel, so we have a feeling Loki will make his escape from the TVA at some point.
The series itself has done some time-traveling, with the premiere date being pushed up two days, now releasing on June 9.
You can look for the six-part series over at Disney+.
Do you think Mobius will give Loki a run for his money?
