Ridley Scott's TV Directorial Debut 'Raised by Wolves' Gets a New Trailer

Ridley Scott (Alien) is making his TV directorial debut with the forthcoming Raised by Wolves, set to air on HBO Max starting September 3, reports RadioTimes.

The title may sound like we'll be heading into nature, but really it's post-apocalyptic and otherworldly. When Earth is destroyed, an android (Amanda Collin) is created to act as a mother to human children who are now parentless. She steps in to raise them and start over.

In the new clip, we see her telling the story of The Three Little Pigs. When a stranger (Travis Fimmel) enters their community, it is implied that he's the Big Bad Wolf.

But, really, it might just be her:

Well, that'd be disappointing to find out your mother figure is a baddie. But, we can't necessarily base the outcome on the above. We shall have to wait to see the entire series roll out.

Scott directs the first two episodes, with his son Luke Scott taking over for three of the other episodes. Alex Gabassi, Sergio Mimica-Gezzan and James Hawes handle directing duties for the rest of the season.

The story is created by Aaron Guzikowski, who wrote Prisoners starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman.
