Rupert Everett Is Set to Star in Espionage Thriller Series ‘Gray’

We’re all about watching the spy game and there’s a new espionage series in the works, entitled Gray. Rupert Everett is the latest actor to be cast, joining Patricia Clarkson and Lydia West, reports Deadline.
Clarkson steps into the title role as CIA spy Cornelia Gray. According to the description, she’s been out of the game for 20 years. But, now she’s back, and there’s a mole in the network.
There’s no word on what role Everett will be playing, but we’re leaning toward British intelligence (with him being British and all) or a baddie. That is purely speculative. He is an actor, he could always put on an American accent and be a part of the CIA.
But, that seems sort of like a waste of a native English accent on-screen.
The script comes from John McLaughlin (Black Swan), with author David Baldacci providing the idea.
You can also look for Everett in the forthcoming My Policeman, releasing on October 21.
