Prue Leith, judge on the The Great British Baking Show, has revealed that she has received a "painless" coronavirus vaccine.

Leith, 80, shared a photo of herself getting the jab on Instagram with the caption: "Who wouldn't want immunity from #Covid19 with a painless jab?? #vaccine"

She was congratulated by her fellow judge Paul Hollywood, who commented on the post "well done Prue," and by the show's co-presenter Noel Fielding, who wrote: "always the most classy glamorous person in the room x love you Prue x".

It is believed that Leith is among the first celebrities in the world to receive a dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine after the U.K. began its immunization rollout last week. Margaret Keenan, a 91-year-old woman from Coventry, England became the first person in the world to receive the vaccine at 6.31am GMT on December 8.

On Friday, the F.D.A. authorized the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for emergency use and the U.S. rollout began within 24 hours of the announcement.

In the U.K., the NHS is rolling out the vaccine to elderly and the most at-risk citizens first. British TV personality and talent agent Michael Whitehall, father of Jack Whitehall, revealed on Instagram Monday that he has received the vaccine. The 80-year-old wrote playfully in his caption: "Here was I worrying about a little prick, no, not @jackwhitehall, which was brilliantly organised by #GSTTnhs [Guys and St Thomas's Hospital NSH]."
