Tom Felton Is All About Playing 'Harry Potter's Draco Malfoy Again... If Asked

There are plenty of bad guys we find ourselves cheering for, like Sherlock's Moriarty (Andrew Scott). And, we need the baddies to give the good guys purpose.
Tom Felton falls into the former category, taking on a not-so-nice wizard named Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. He started off in the role as a child, filming at 13-years-old, growing up with the character and is now 33.
While there may not be any plans at the moment, Felton is up for reprising the role, if the opportunity were to present itself.
He recently talked to People magazine, saying, "If you’re asking me will I dye my hair blonde again to be Draco, abso-bloody-lutely. Either [him or Lucius]. I’ll play Draco’s kid if you really want!”
It sounds like he's put some thought in this, with Lucius (Jason Isaacs) being Draco's father in the original.
All in all, Felton seems pretty keen on the franchise and his role in it, going on to say, "Any chance to be a Malfoy again would be greatly accepted."
It's really sweet that he loves the character that much.
He talked about what would happen if someone else were to step into the role: "I do feel if someone else played [Draco], I’d be slightly possessive, going, ‘Hang on.'"
It's understandable that the idea of being replaced would give him pause.
It's been 20 years since he first teamed up with his HP co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, and he recently had a check in with them, telling People, "I was speaking to Rupert, Daniel and Emma separately the other day and [said], ‘Twenty years, can you imagine that?’"
He capped off his interview and the mini reunion by saying, "They all look the bloody same, literally."
Felton is currently filming the crime drama Lead Heads, also starring Anglo favorite Derek Jacobi.
Do you think there's room on the screen for more Draco Malfoy?
