Loki, the god of mischief, is getting his own TV series... as he should.

We can look for the Thor spin-off series over at Disney+, premiering May 2021. The series, simply called Loki, now has a first look trailer. At the start of it, Loki is in handcuffs, being escorted by his big brother Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) through Stark Industries.

Loki is able to make his escape, and lands at the Time Variancy Authority (TVA). That's where we see him in an elevator with Owen Wilson's character, a cosmic bureaucrat. Loki says to him, "I don't like to talk."

Umm, yes he does. And, he likes to lie.

He's definitely called out on that in the below clip:

It's not 100% clear what's going on in the new series, but according to Den of Geek, it seems Loki is being sent on near impossible missions on behalf of the TVA — and these missions call for time travel.

We would like to point out, without Thor around, Loki seems to have a bit more swagger (if that's even possible).

Are you ready for more Loki?Â
