What's that sound? It's Loki fans all in a twitter, because the premiere date for the new Loki series has been announced!

We can look for the Marvel series on Disney+ starting June 11, reports ComingSoon.net. The series is made-up of six episodes, starring Tom Hiddleston as the god of mischief, Thor's little brother, who we met on-screen in 2011's Thor.

Loki was first announced in 2018, so it's taken some time to get here, but the moment is upon us. And, it's about Loki's favorite topic... him. He can finally step out from his brother's shadow.

In December 2020, a first look trailer was released, which you can take a peek at here:

In addition to Hiddleston, we can look for Owen Wilson, Richard E. Grant and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Wilson was recently on the The Jesse Cagle Show, where he talked about Hiddleston giving him the 411 on all things Loki, saying, "For a couple days, (he) walked me through everything and the whole lore and showing me clips from the other movies and how it all fed into this story."

Aw, Hiddles is much more accommodating than his supervillain alter-ego.

Mbatha-Raw shared her thoughts on joining the franchise in an interview with Forbes, saying, "I’m obviously sworn to secrecy about everything to do with Loki, but it feels great to be back."

Okay, now we know how the actors feel about the forthcoming series...
