The dynamic duo Wallace and Gromit are heading back to the screen.
We first met the inventor and his devoted dog in 1989, with the release of the short film A Grand Day Out.
We last saw the two in the 2005 big screen adaptation The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
According to ComingSoon.net, the BBC and Netflix are planning a film for 2024.
While there’s a bit of a wait, we are excited to hear that they are set to make a return.
Creator Nick Park will once again bring his clay characters to life, directing the stop-motion comedy.
While the project is untitled, there is a description, which reads: “Gromit’s concern that Wallace has become over-dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart gnome” that seems to develop a mind of its own…As events spiral out of control, it falls to Gromit to put aside his qualms and battle sinister forces – or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
Whoa, it sounds like Wallace has a problem and Gromit is prepared to save the day.
The project is in writing and storyboard phase.
In the meantime, let’s go back to where this all started:
Are you excited to hear there's more Wallace & Gromit on the way!?
